Happy Monday, Friends! Today I’m sharing our family Easter pictures, and quick trip down memory lane. As I dressed my daughter last Sunday for church, I realized that the outfit I had been saving in her closet (a beautiful hand-me-down) for this year was the exact same outfit she had worn for her very first Easter, just in a different size. In 2009, a sweet lady in our church on the island in Nova Scotia bought her the entire outfit, including the headband, the itty-bitty tights and tiny white shoes. Tiny Daughter was 6 months old. Here she is in all her sweetness (caution: heart melting moment ahead!)
This year after church we went to our local garden supply shop, where there is a lovely park area with a small brook and a bridge. In a few months the garden will be overflowing with beautiful flowers and plants.
Looking at the water, hoping to see fish. Alas, it is still too cold.
Another quick trip down memory lane….The photo below was also taken on Tiny Daughter’s first Easter. In some ways, this picture makes me sad. I was still so weak from the pregnancy that it was very hard for me to even hold my baby for any length of time. But I’m thankful that we managed to get some photos together:
I’m very thankful for my two active, growing up ‘babies!’
My husband insisted that I pose for a few shots. 🙂
I LOVE how this one turned out! It really captures each of their personalities so well! Not to mention the handsomeness… 🙂
One last peek at our cuties:
I hope you all had a fabulous Easter season celebrating our risen Saviour! All of the blessings that we enjoy in this life are made possible by the resurrection of Christ…ponder that today!
Awwww very nice pictures, cant believe they are this big now.
They look so grown up, and of course still as photogenic as can be.
You have such good looking family, you must be some proud.
You guys look SUPER. Cant wait to see you folks in a few weeks.
I hadn’t compared pictures in awhile…loved looking at her baby pics again. 🙂 Looking forward to seeing you guys soon too!
aww I love all of the photos. My favorite is the one with your husband and the two kids. It looks like something that could be seen in a magazine! And I have that same skirt that you are wearing! GREAT photos and I love seeing the growth progression in Tiny Daughter!
Thanks, Aprille! I liked the “magazine” one too. 😉 I got that skirt in FL one year at Dress barn for $5. Definitely one of my favorites!
I looove the look of adoration on your daughter’s face when she’s looking at her daddy! So sweet!
I know! I love that one too. She certainly is her Daddy’s girl. 🙂
