Key Scripture: 2 Corinthians 9:7, Acts 20:35

Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

I have showed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

Prayer Guide for Church Members:

“God, make my pastor a man who gives cheerfully to You and to others. Let him willingly give his time, gifts, resources, and finances back to You in recognition of Your good and perfect gifts. Help him to be aware of the needs of others, and to happily share. Let him be an example of one who gives sacrificially to meet the practical needs of those You have placed in his life. Help him as he leads our local church in giving to missions and to the furtherance of the Gospel to our community.  Let it be said of our pastor that he is a giver- one who consistently blesses others in creative ways. God, make my pastor a man who gives cheerfully to You and to others. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
