Let the words of my mouth, and the meditations of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength and my redeemer.

Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.

“God,  help my pastor to be a man of graceful speech.  Let his words be kind, thoughtful, and Christlike. Guide his thoughts in the paths of Your Word so that his words reflect Yours. When faced with conflict and contention, give him grace to return a soft answer. Help him not to be demanding or hurtful with his words. Rather let his words heal and encourage. At home, may his words bless his family. In the pulpit, let him speak only those words that You impress on his heart. Remind him that, in ministry, it is not his words that convict and comfort, but it is Your Spirit that works through him. Make him a man that is characterized by speech that glorifies You.
