Here it is, friends. The soon coming reality of a dream that was born out of a great trial:
Isn’t it beautiful?! I’m in love.
The cover sits in front of me and still I can’t believe this is happening. Seven years ago during my pregnancy, when I was fighting for my life and my baby’s life, I never dreamed I’d be helping raise awareness someday…telling an incredible story of God’s grace and provision. When Small Son was about 3 years old I used to joke and say “I could write a book about everything that happened during his pregnancy.” I wasn’t serious. But God was. I know I will be forever grateful for His healing hand in so many areas of my life after HG. And I pray that my ebook will bring hope to many women in the future.
Here is one of the 3D images for advertising:
For now, it’s an ebook. But a girl can keep dreaming, right? {I’d love to see it published someday.}
I couldn’t post this without giving a shout out to Joy at 5 J’s Design for helping to make my dream come true. She did an excellent job on the cover design. I was impressed with her attention to detail. When she sent me the original mock-up, it was like she had read my mind concerning what I wanted in cover design. They’ve been amazing to do business with!
My goal for launch is early May. May 15th is Hyperemesis Gravidarum awareness day, but the whole month is dedicated to HG awareness. So look for Expecting Grace on Amazon in a few weeks! By the way, there are only FIVE books and one children’s book out there dedicated to Hyperemesis Gravidarum. This pregnancy condition certainly needs more awareness.
I am so excited. I’ve been remaining calm on the outside {I think} while barely being able to contain myself on the inside. I’m so thankful for my husband’s encouragement for this project {he came up with the final title, too!}, and for Fina, Amanda, and Aprille, who have cheered me on every step of the way. I’m very blessed.
What do you think? Do you like the cover design?

LOVE the cover design!! So excited for you!! Love seeing someone get to experience a dream and asnwer to pray come true. And a little jealous that you got to work with Joy – I always admire her work on MSM 🙂
Thank you, Christina. This dream has been a long time in coming, and is actually one I said I would never do. Too much pain associated with it, I said. But God is a great Healer, and has brought me to the point of true thankfulness for that trial, even before I ever wrote a word. 🙂 Joy was fabulous to do business with, and her husband Jeff is doing the formatting and prep for Amazon. They’ve been super helpful and very prompt with everything!
I love it! Can’t wait to read the contents! Let me know if you are allowing bloggers a sneak peek….for review purposes, of course. 🙂 I can’t wait to promote it!
Thanks, Nicole! And yes, bloggers can absolutely have a complimentary copy for review. Can you do me a favour and send an email to expectingracebook@gmail.com reminding me that you want a copy for blog review? I’m handling all communications at that email address, and I will probably forget if I don’t have it in front of me….this is what deadlines can do to a person….drive them out to live with the spring peepers! lol 🙂
