Prayer Guide for Church Members:
“God, protect my pastor as He follows You. Give him the measure of health that You desire for him. Let him see his health and physical strength as a gift of grace. Let him use his body for Your service, giving his energy toward laying up treasure in heaven. Give him rest during his sleeping hours- rest that will refresh his body in preparation for further service. When he is sick or recovering, let him look look to You as his Healer. Through his own suffering, let him glean compassion and empathy for those who are chronically ill or experiencing medical trauma. Keep him aware of the value of his health as it comes from You. Keep him safe as he speaks in his pulpit, and as he travels to make visits and to enjoy fellowship opportunities. God, protect my pastor as he follows You. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
