Dear Pastor’s Wife,

   Psalm 86:15, “But thou, O LORD, art a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.”

In the ministry world of glass houses, faults are often magnified and weaknesses are pounced upon. We are misunderstood, criticized, and our failures are spread out for everyone to see. Expectations build; pressures squeeze. Life conflicts.

But wait- there is an exhale of relief that you can breathe out today.

Your God is absolutely full of compassion. He is the very essence of grace. He is eternally patient. He never runs out of mercy and He Himself is the freedom of forgiveness. As you meditate on the reality of these promises, can you feel the wave of hope flooding your heart? Still human, yes. Still imperfect, yes. But God! But grace! May you embrace it today and free your heart from the guilt that others may try to impose. We make mistakes, but there is forgiveness with Him. End of story.

Simple. Day changing. Life changing.
