Why I’m Leaving My Husband {But Not For Good}

Yes, it’s true. I’m leaving my husband.

It’s not for lack of wedded bliss {8 years so far and it gets better all the time!}

It’s because we live just one hour from that dreamy vacation land, Prince Edward Island. Eat your hearts out, friends.

Some of our close family friends from Nova Scotia have rented a lovely  3 BR cottage just on the other side of the Confederation Bridge {it’s the second longest non-suspension bridge in the world, by the way. That’s your Canadian fact of the day!}

And so on this my birthday week, I’m leaving my husband {let’s pity him, shall we?} and escaping with Small Son and Tiny Daughter for a week of much needed down time.  Think beach fun, reading for countless hours, writing to my heart’s content, and enjoying family time. God loves me so much.

In other news, my laptop is still in the computer hospital and may require surgery. It’s been a bit more difficult to blog and maintain social media on a mobile device…and on my husband’s computer, which is somewhat ancient. 🙂

However, on Wednesday I have a special post prepared for you. I have quite a few new readers {welcome to you all!} and I’d like to let you in on some ‘secrets’ in a fun way. So stick around!

Have a great week, all. Enjoy God, bask in His grace, and share Him with others!
